So far we have not extensively tested running Vaadin 8 applications beyond Java17. On the other hand we know that Java21 should not bring breaking changes compared to Java17, so I would assume it to work.

Just to note. The latest Vaadin 8 allows to use Java11 source syntax in GWT code. So if you have widget module, restrict the source level to 11.
