Pre-populate cache

Is anyone aware of any documentation for the purpose of pre-populating an urql/graphcache cache? I would like to perform a GQL query at build time and serialize the output such that it can be included with my (mobile)application such that graphcache had access to that query on first boot of the application.

Is there any prior art for doing this? Any tips on where to start?
