@tanushree04 , per today's discussion with Chris, do you think we still need to create a CLI call to update ghe_dir in the system parameters file? Currently it is an absolute path (manually) updated by the user, which is not transferrable between different machines.

The GMT part of this issue will be addressed by PR #550 . GMT takes the output path and processes the g-function inside GMT.
