From the docs here and from checking, it appears that the filter isn't taking out other campaigns.

Seems to be working for me:

https://mastapp.site/json/shots?filters=campaign$eq:M9&sort=-shot_id

If you don’t order by -shot id, what is the first result? I was getting M5 shots at the beginning.
