Describe the bug

I use Bazzite with the GNOME desktop, and since release 41, I switched to Wayland as X11 is no longer available. Unfortunately, ever since, I've been experiencing a strange mouse grab issue on my dual-monitor setup.

Whenever I open a menu that shows the cursor or use Alt+Tab, I’m unable to move my character because the cursor appears on my second screen. This is demonstrated in the short video where I show the issue in Hunt: Showdown: https://youtu.be/jQ1y2wrel1E

This problem happens consistently in all the games I’ve tested and started occurring after updating to Bazzite 41. Before that, with Bazzite 3.7.0, I was using the X11 GNOME session, and everything worked as expected. As shown in the video, when I click the right or left mouse button a few times, the issue resolves temporarily. However, it reoccurs whenever I open a menu or use Alt+Tab again.

What did you expect to happen?

The expected behavior is that after opening a menu with the cursor or using Alt+Tab, I should be able to turn around in the game without the cursor appearing on the second screen.
