Is this library still being used internally at Uber? If so, would love to see some updates here, like enabling IPv6 support (looking at the code, it ignores these).

If not, would you be able to ping or direct us to people you think could help? Maybe @mmchen or @ibgreen (based on other active repos in https://github.com/uber-common)?

Neither Jordan nor myself are currently contributing code to this library. Might be able to in my spare time though, or find somebody else who can. What features come to mind (like IPv6) that would be useful?
