Ungoogled-chromium & Bromite & Cromite have many similarities, all are Ungoogled Chromium try to remains closer to upstream Chromium, but patches it for blob free, Core Chromium without any proprietary libraries in software. Bromite & Cromite further goes ahead for privacy centric & security. These reasons they are patched specially, In Android they have in-built Ad blocking mechanism that may even provide end-users for tracking protection, across the web. (No Profiling by default for ads as well as other metrics or fingerprinting) User-Agent can be override, same way Don't know to much about Ungoogled Chromium Desktop Environment. Their are many things to say, but this is the basic. |

I would really like to know what Ungoogled patches are not included with Cromite for desktop. As far as I understand both their goals, I don't think there are any patches in the set used by Ungoogled that aren't within Cromite's scope. So it would be great to be able to have a list of whatever's not adopted from Ungoogled to Cromite in order to make a decision whether to switch or not. |
