TyphiNET is a web application for creating global- and country-level data visualisations of genome-derived metrics of public health utility for the bacterial pathogen Salmonella Typhi (S. Typhi), the causative agent of typhoid fever.
This wiki explains how to use the TyphiNET dashboard via a web browser. The live version of TyphiNET here.
TyphiNET is implemented as a MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) stack Javascript application, the code is available in this repository and the README contains further information for users wishing to install or modify the code.
A manuscript is in preparation. In the meantime, if you use the TyphiNET dashboard in your research, please cite it via this DOI:: Dyson, Cerderia and Holt. (2022). TyphiNET v1.2.1. DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.6014236 TyphiNET is under active development by Louise Cerdeira, Zoe Dyson and Kat Holt. For more information on our team, including software, see http://holtlab.net/.Please get in touch via the GitHub issues tracker if you have any issues, questions, or ideas related to TyphiNET.
Those wishing to contribute data are encouraged to deposit their data in Pathogenwatch and to join the Global Typhoid Genomics Consortium (details available at: https://www.typhoidgenomics.org/).
