I use http://getbootstrap.com/customize/ to make small customizations to Bootstrap – setting @brand-primary, @font-family-sans-serif, that sort of thing. But when I download the customized .css, bootstrap-theme.css isn't included. Can this be changed? Can the Customize page produce a customized bootstrap-theme.css?

BTW, I have a workaround (download the source, tweak variables.less, recompile). But it'd be nice to be able to use the Customize page instead.

What variables do you need? There aren't any theme-specific variable.

The problem isn't theme-specific variables. The problem is that theme.less makes use of variables like @brand-primary and @font-family-sans-serif, but the Customize page doesn't produce bootstrap-theme.css. I'd like to make use of bootstrap-theme.css so my site doesn't have the default, flat appearance. But without a customized bootstrap-theme.css, primary buttons are the wrong color and the wrong font.

This is an issue that turned into a great idea > Have the Customize generator crank out a bootstrap-theme CSS file. Thanks and yes please!

Down with that. Will look into it.

Just FYI, the following selector strings are (near) duplicated one after the other in the theme file:

@gabrielhart That's intentional—:hover is different from :focus, but both are styled the same in Bootstrap.
