This issue is about adding a context menu option - Open - which would open the object / component in question either in the current, or a new editor/tab. Below info is copied over here from Discord:
The perfect behavior for me would be to replace the current editor/tab. The way I have to do it now is
Go To Definition -> Open In Triplex -> opens in new tab/session/editor
Which is OK, but the fact that it does not replace the current editor/tab/session is the worst aspect of this flow IMO. What I would love is:
Open -> opens in same tab/session/editor
Without knowing potential implementation complexities, it should be able to do this, since you can already Go To Definition
maybe make it configurable whether to open in a new tab, or replace the current one, because I guess that is subjective, and there are other functions that does make it open in a new tab atm, so if you change that in this place, I guess it would mak sense to keep it consistent across the plugin.
