I'd like to resurrect this issue: #1425

To summarize, only the ed25519 derivation scheme is currently available in Umami. I would like to use the bip32-ed25519 derivation scheme to connect my Ledger.

At the time in 2020 the latter was the recommended derivation type to use.

I would also humbly ask if you could add the secp256k1 as well as the p-256 derivation schemes. This comes in handy when using Ledgers which need to perform faster using the tz2/tz3 crypto, especially when it comes to DAL performance and discussed in the dev-slack.
