I wanted to create my own bots from scratch using new techniques and also for a newer version of WoW. So I wanted the smallest reference point possible and have not attempted to import the bots into a Trinity 3.3.5 project. Though I have been referencing the source.
This is where I am hitting a roadblock. I cannot even figure out how to create a player unit. This would preferably have all the stats and gear as the character in the database, of course. Once I have figured this out I am assuming the rest will be easy (crossing my fingers!)
So does anyone know how to do this? I feel like every time I am making headway and starting to understand I am pointed to a new file which demolishes my current understanding and forces me back to the drawing board.
