What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. send a mail with minig webmail
2. read this mail in minig webmail
3. no problem when a mail is sent with thunderbird

instead of "é" I have "?". Tried to change apache default charset to UTF-8
and ISO-8859-1 : same issue

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 minig : minig_2.2.0.558-2
 minig-backend_2.2.0.558-2
 debian etch

Minig has evolved a lot over the last few month.
Do you still have the issue.
Not reproduced on our install, Minig is used on a daily basis (a recent fix was
related to people having accents in To or CC fields.

hi,

i have same problem too. every "é" is changed in "?". default charset for 
minig is
utf-8 and debian locales is utf-8 too. In fact, i'm full utf-8.

minig : minig_2.2.12.960-1
minig-backend : minig-backend_2.2.12.960-1
debian lenny
