ReVanced manager breaks Magisk root #6986

I installed the newest version (v1.1.0) of ReVanced manager, but it broke my root installation.
When I opened the ReVanced manager it did not ask for root permission so I checked it in Magisk... But when I opened Magisk it said that no Magisk version is installed (N/A). Tried to reinstall Magisk and reopen ReVanced Manager, but it constantly breaks the Magisk installation.

I can reproduce the issue with the following steps:

  1. Install Magisk 26.1 (in my case from the recovery by sideloading the apk)
  2. Reboot and check that Magisk root is working -> yes, it's working fine
  3. Install ReVanced manager v1.1.0 from apk
  4. Check that Magisk is working -> yes, it's working fine
  5. Open ReVanced manager -> it won't ask for root permissions
  6. Check that Magisk is working -> no, Magisk installation is broken (N/A)

What's weird is that it works fine with my other device (gta4xlwifi) with the same versions.

Device: evert (Moto G6 Plus)
Android version: 12 (LOS 19.1)
Magisk version name: d0c9384
Magisk version code: 26101

Are you using a custom kernel? If so this is a duplicate of #6914 and should be closed

Maybe, I'm not sure. But it seems to be the cause of the problem.

I guess I will have to upgrade to LOS 20 to fix this.
Thanks.
