Feature to ensure all accessories have unique serial numbers

I currently use Homebridge to integrate with Home Assistant and use the Smartthings HB plugin. I have several Smartthing accessories that all show up in Homebridge with the same serial number: "Default-SerialNumber". This causes conflicts when Home Assistant attempts to add the Homebridge accessories as Home Assistant expects each accessory to have a unique serial number.

Would like to see the ability for either manual serial number edits by the user for each accessory or have the plugin detect duplicate serials and automatically make them unique.
