This release contains the code for the preprint "The APC-Effect: Stratification in Open Access Publishing". The data underlying this analysis is available at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7014802.

Details on how to run the code and reproduce the analysis are available in the README.md file.

The attached binary file (17-brm-large-sample.rds.bz2) is the output from running the Stan sampler on the mixture model discussed in the preprint. This is provided because running the sampler takes fairly long (5-10 days).
