C2Y if with initialization flow analysis problem

The implicit test for p is not being done.

#pragma flow enable

int *f();
int main()
{      
   if (int *p = f())
   {
     static_debug(p); //should print not-null
   }
}

This works

#pragma flow enable

int *f();
int main()
{      
   if (int *p = f(); p)
   {
     static_debug(p);
   }
}

Probably I will have to create a expression there internally.
