Compactor deployed as cronjob and it's own monitoring

Hi,
I used to run a compactor via deployment, with a service (K8S) so my local prometheus agent can scrape it's metrics.
Now, to be more costly efficient, i choose to switch to cronjob. Everything seems to work fine except i do not have metrics, of course (no service to discover)

Is it something you already have to deal with ? Should i consider working on a solution with a push gateway?
