Reproduction steps

  1. Open app for the first time (close it first if it's already open)
  2. Try to play a song, playlist, album, etc.

Expected Behavior

Music plays

Actual Behavior

  1. Get an error that says "Oops, something went wrong"

Clicking play again will result in the app operating correctly. I get the same behavior using the portable version or the installed Windows version. I also get this behavior on three different computers. I cannot reproduce the behavior on the official music.youtube.com website.

Enabled plugins

  1. In-App Menu
  2. Navigation
  3. Notifications
  4. Skip Disliked Songs
  5. Video Toggle

Additional Information

I have tried disabling every plugin and still get the behavior described.

exact same issue here: Version 3.7.2 - Mac M3 MAX Sequoia 15.3
no errors in console or network
