[BUG] icon and pdf theming out of sync

Describe the bug
When re-opening zotero frequently the theme for an open PDF isn't applied.

To Reproduce

1. open pdf and switch to dark-mode (stars icon)
2. close and re-open zotero
3. often the PDF shows with stars icon but in light mode

Expected behavior
Since the stars icon is shown, it seems, zotero-night does somehow remember the correct last setting. But for unknown reasons that theme is not correctly applied.

This may be a duplicate or or at least related to #3
