Potential talking points

  • (Re)define TARDIS's purpose in concrete terms.
    • Bring back Timelords/Assistants?
    • Define new "structure"?
  • OpenStack
    • Rough outline of architecture, components, capacity
    • Migration method
    • Skills/People required - call for volunteers
  • Governance
    • Review/revise TARDIS permissions model
      • Too permissive?
    • Define a concrete process for introducing new tech into TARDIS
      • We need to keep track of exactly what's going on, otherwise we'll end up in this position again
    • Is a roadmap necessary?
    • Shall we revisit the TARDIS GitLab and move onto there, potentially allowing internet facing interface?
    • Hardware inventory

I'm also going to add "Engagement" as a topic too, let's discuss how we can get more new folks involved with the project

Will this be bridged through to a non-Discord platform?

Will this be bridged through to a non-Discord platform?

It won't be, no. We don't have anything set up to bridge voice from discord to anything else.

We discussed what platform to use when we chose Discord last weekend out of a handful of options, Discord proving most popular among the group at the time because a number of us are already set up with it, and it's relatively easy to get on if you're not already set up with it.

(sorry - if i'd been paying attention I would have pushed a RO stream somewhere non-discord users can see)

np, lesson for next time. I'm just generally unhappy with using a proprietary service with unlimited length hold on data and has non-negligible Chinese ownership.
