The launchpad build window will open in the corner of my screen, outside my click range.
is there any way to fix this?

Yes, there is a way: edit GameData/ExtraplanetaryLaunchpads/Plugins/PluginData/Launchpad/Settings.cfg and adjust the position for MainWindow.
