Clarifications for Installation Documentation

I hope this is the correct place for this. I have some suggestions for clearing up a few things on the docs, based on my own personal experience, as well as helping about a dozen other people who ran into the same issues I did at first. Just today I had someone reach out to me because they saw that I'd helped others get set up and were struggling. I've even created a google doc with my own version of instructions to share because I was contacted so many times. Is there a specific person to reach out to, or a process for contribution?

I'm more than happy to share it all here if this is where is belongs, or I also joined the Discord and could jump in a voice channel to chat if that's faster.
