[FR] As a user adding tasks to a user story I would like to input multiple tasks from a single textarea

First, thank you very much for Taïga, we love it :)

Please describe the problem / need you are trying to solve.

When creating a user story with an important list of tasks, we have to input each task separately with 2 clicks/or Enter, it's a little complicated when having to enter tens of tasks.

Describe the feature or the improvement you'd like and what are you trying to achieve.

We would like to replace the task input field by a textarea + split each line to create a new task, so one could enter multiple tasks by copy/pasting multiple lines into this textarea and type Enter.

This feature is present for example in Trello.

Thank you for your quick answer :)
Unfortunately the linked feature is not what we need, it creates "user stories" (not "tasks", even if the documentation describes it as tasks).
I'm talking about adding tasks into an existing user story (or subtasks if you prefer).

Please double check, as we have been using that feature successfully to create task in bulk, which will be linked to the user-story. It has to be done within a sprint and can not be done in the back-log.

Adding user stories in bulk can be done from the back-log, but not tasks.

I've checked the task bulk creation from a sprint, indeed it's what we need, except that we don't use the scrum module, we only use the kanban module with user stories and tasks inside user stories.

It would be awesome if the create batch tasks icon + modal would be added to the user story screen (see the red square in my attached

screenshot).

Also adding a link to toggle show/hide completed tasks in the same place (
see my other issue : #217 )

These features are present in Trello that we have been using for years, that's why we miss these ;)
