degit could not find commit hash for master

Describe the bug
On Windows 10 with corporate firewall getting started example doesn't work properly :

degit -c sveltejs/template svelte-app
! could not find commit hash for master

Cli git itself works ok.

This would be an issue for the degit repo, if anything. There's already an issue there about providing better error messages when something goes wrong with git. If degit's not working for you, you can always download a zip of the appropriate branch of a repo directly from github.
