When a user chooses the Globus option for file upload, we create a shared folder at Globus. We appear to giving access to that folder to either the person who originally created the work or to the current owner of the work. We recently had a collection manager who needed to modify the files for a work created by someone else who is no longer at Stanford. Because of the volume of files, they needed to use either the Globus or zip upload method. When they tried the Globus method, they couldn't get access to the shared folder.
We need to set the permissions on this folder so that the person who is actually trying to modify the item can get to it.
