[ bug ] mouse interacts with drawing while resizing

This was raised by @claudio-etterli in the CyBy project: When resizing the drawing canvas, the mouse pointer still interacts with the drawing, possibly creating a selection rectangle or even adding atoms or bonds to the drawing. This leads to a lot of confusion, obviously.
