Hello!

Maybe it's me, but I can never remember what happens with aspect ratios and how 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio videos will display on 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio TVs.

I could test these and make a note somewhere for myself, but that won't help anyone else.

If you could, adding a small picture or text description about what will happen for 16:9 and 4:3 content when displayed on 16:9 and 4:3 devices would help more than just myself, I'm sure.

I don't have any ideas about how to best display this information in hacktv-gui but having this information available would certainly help me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Thank you!

You don't have to implement this, it's just an idea. If you don't like it, or don't want to do it, then don't 😄 I'll live.

Sounds like something I could add to the wiki. I'll see what I can do.

Don't know if it's helpful, but I made this cheat sheet for the new --fit command line argument. I kept forgetting how it worked too :-)

Actually looking at this again you might want to forget the bottom row. I don't think the min/max arguments are working as intended.
