"Intrinsic Gas Too Low" Error after Bridge Transaction confirmation despite sufficient ETH to cover fee

Preconditions:

Accounts Setup:

• A newly created default account (empty).
• A freshly generated keypair (empty).
• An imported seed account (with assets).

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the account containing assets (imported seed account). (NOTE: this step is required)
2. Initiate an ERC-20 bridge transaction.
3. Check the transaction in both the Activity tab and the blockchain.

Actual Result:

• "intrinsic gas too low" Error is shown after tx confirmation
  

• Only the approval transaction appears in the Activity tab.
  

• The bridge transaction does not show up in the Activity tab or the blockchain.

Expected Result:

Both the approval transaction and the bridge transaction should appear in the Activity tab.
The bridge transaction should be successfully recorded in the blockchain
