In the OMA baseline there is a section called "Terminology & Conventions".
this Section is listed in the document between the 'Scope' section and the 'Introduction'.
'Terminology & Conventions' section contains another three sections:

  • Abbreviations
    • Table listing all the abbreviations defined in the document
  • Conventions
    • The default information in this section is:

_The key words “MUST”, “MUST NOT”, “REQUIRED”, “SHALL”, “SHALL NOT”, “SHOULD”, “SHOULD NOT”, “RECOMMENDED”, “MAY”, and “OPTIONAL” in this document are to be interpreted as described in [RFC2119].
All sections and appendixes, except “Scope” and “Introduction”, are normative, unless they are explicitly indicated to be informative.
      _'

  • Definitions
    • Table listing all the definitions defined in the document

For further reference see the baseline used for OMA TS LwM2M. It contains these sections.
