[Bug]: Plugin is unresponsive on Mac OS - breaks the settings pane for the entire plugin when a Cloze Pattern is specified

Describe the bug

After typing out about 11 flashcards, adding a cloze pattern to the settings, and hitting the sidepanel toggle to check them, the button was unresponsive. Then when clicking on the settings button to get to Obsidian/Community Plugin settings, the whole pane popped up blank. Had to reload the app with the command palette for the settings to work again - but the same issue would happen when clicking on the flashcard button in the sidebar. I've narrowed it down to being related to specifying the Cloze pattern - once that is deleted the plugin functions like normal.

To Reproduce

1. Open Obsidian
2. Add Cloze Pattern (even the default of ==)
3. Click Review Flashcard Button on the sidebar, see that nothing happens.
4. Open Settings to find the pane blank and unresponsive

Expected behavior

Expected to see the flashcard pane popup with things to review like normal
