ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'poetry'

This hasn't been tested on Python 3.10, unfortunately.

Make sure pip is updated. You can try --no-use-pep517 to see if that helps.

What operating system are you using? If you're using MacOS, this is probably because the pasteboard dependency only has prebuilt wheels for Python 3.6 - 3.9 -- so on 3.10 it will try to build from source, which will require additional dependencies.

Thanks for the reply. I am on macOS 12.6.1.

--no-use-pep517doesn’t work:

ERROR: Disabling PEP 517 processing is invalid: project specifies a build backend of poetry.core.masonry.api in pyproject.toml

What however worked was installing poetry again. (via tobywf/pasteboard#14).

Thanks again.
