Analyze the memory footprint of the newly introduced location information in the annotation metadata and look for potential optimizations in this area.

Profiling results of a large workspace reveal that the newly introduced more exact location information for annotation metadata doesn't cause a significant increase in memory consumption, so no optimizations needed in this area.
