Hi! I am Cristiano from Bologna, Italy where I study as a Ph.D. student at the local University.
I have 7 years of experience with open source development with a focus on technologies like java, typescript, javascript.
Currently, I am working on IoT technologies for smart agriculture π³ and smart building structures monitoring π‘. I am focusing on the WebOfThings paradigm and I am an invited expert at the dedicated W3C working group. Here, I study solutions for Scripting API and Discovery specs.
I like working on opensource because it means interacting with talented people around the world. Moreover, it allows you to challenge yourself and become firstly a better human being and, of course, a better developer. Lastly, I like how opensource enables others to use what I create, that's why I pay always extra attention to how my work will be used making it more pleasant and easy to use as possible.
Unfortunately, life is not that easy, and not every one of us is so lucky to have spare time to dedicate to opensource development. It would be a dream if you help me to make this passion my side job or even, (maybe a day) my first job!
So thank you for your time reading this bio and thank you really much for evaluating funding this dream of mine. ππ
