Hi 👋🏼!

I'm Mehul Gohil, a tech enthusiast who is passionate about Code and WordPress with a strong curiosity to learn something new. During my early life, I have been introduced to Pascal and Visual Basic during 10th grade and 12th grade respectively. That introduction sparked an interest in code. So, I have completed my Bachelor’s of Engineering in Computer Science in 2012. Since then, I have worked with amazing agencies like Medma Infomatix, Uplers, GiveWP, and well-known platforms like Toptal and Codeable. During my early career, I came to know about WordCamps in 2016 and wanted to organize one. Then, I collaborated with other like-minded people and become an active member of the local community at Ahmedabad. Also, I have been a WordCamp Organizer at WordCamp Ahmedabad 2019.

I have always believed in learning and implementing the learnings. The curiosity to learn more and connect with like-minded people has exposed him to being a part of the local community in Ahmedabad.

When I'm not working, you will find me contributing to open-source projects, spending time with nature and family, playing strategy games, or connecting with new people.

I strongly believe in open-source and always try my best to give back to the community. So, I have allocated at least 5 hours each week to open-source contributions as a part to the Five for the Future initiative.

I want to move to a full-time open-source contributor so that I can increase the reach of my open-source contributions to more potential projects that can change the face of the future.
