I am Mark Abrahams, living in Auckland, New Zealand. I develop the node-net-snmp project, which is the solitary maintained Node.js SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) implementation in the NPM ecosystem. I also manage the supporting project node-asn1-ber.

For decades, SNMP has been the most prolific network management standard across the whole spectrum of device categories - from embedded controllers to core Internet routers. As such, this package has an important role in providing network monitoring and management capabilities for Node.js-based software.
