I have a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, but most of my coding and hardware experience has been earned by getting dirty in the trenches. I helped build one of the first voice and video media engines in the voice over IP field, which was eventually licensed by Yahoo! and used in over 40 million endpoints for video calls. I co-developed several popular plugins for WordPress, two of which were rated the #1 and #3 plugins by users prior to the main WordPress event in San Francisco.
I'm currently working on several projects in the WordPress field - a plugin to fine-tune privacy within WordPress, self-mirroring community-inspired plugin and theme repository called Juniper/Server, a Github authorship plugin called Juniper/Author, a PHP-based Static Site Generator called Crossroads, and a new replacement for the WordPress Dashboard called Precipice.
