About me

I'm the primary developer and maintainer of the MollenOS/Vali Operating System. It's developed almost fully from scratch (with a few exceptions) and aims to provide a modern and simple OS experience. I've been developing this project the past 8 years and has grown into a huge project with a custom toolchain build (modified clang/llvm), it's own bootloader, custom filesystem and almost fully fledged microkernel.

Spinoff projects that has been born from MollenOS/Vali are Gracht, which is a custom protocol library that aims to be small and effecient, but extremely modular. Another spin off is the Vioarr Compositor which is a cross-platform window manager aimed to both work on top of linux and MollenOS/Vali.

I've worked as a Software Engineer for the past 7 years in various fields, most recently working as a Software Engineer on Ubuntu Core. Any work done on MollenOS/Vali, Gracht or Vioarr is not in any way related to my employer and is completely open source and free.

Why I take donations

Donations will go exclusively to costs associated with developing and hosting the projects. Expenses will mostely be CI and hosting, but will also go to promoting the project (possibly at conferences should that get relevant).

And if you really want to help and can't help financially, then you are always free to help with the website, graphics and/or development, the project is open to anyone!
