That google docs link requires access permission unfortunately

Everyone using a Spear.ai google profile should be able to view and edit. Let me know if still can't access it.

Ah yeah I don’t have a Spear.ai account. I just thought it would be an interesting read

@alexjbuck, should I close this in favor of github.com/spear-ai/onboarding?

Edit: Or maybe they're complimentary?

Oh! I actually didn't see this google doc. I started writing the onboarding markdown pages for myself and then, put them together with mkdocs and gh-pages. I think that you only need one of these. I haven't addressed a bunch of the things in that google docs yet within the onboarding repo yet. So far its just a nice framework for writing docs/guides and a script that I can use to reconfigure a Mac with all the software used. It also does some Git / GPG signing configuration, which, is fairly annoying to do on a Mac.

I can see someone making a case for it being a separate repo especially if there's private information you want to throw in there. Whatever you think makes sense. Originally this repo was intended to be a style guide although it's involved into a little more because it now contains some code configuration files.

Agree with you Dennis - love keeping the style guide public but a separate private repo for onboarding makes sense
