Is the GPS data accurate if retrieved from the dish? I notice that my position was way off when connected on Starlink with an app that use geolocation. So i wonder if I would get something better asking the dish.

As far as I can tell, the longitude and latitude readings are as accurate as any consumer-grade GPS product, including cell phones, which is about 1-5m. This is just based on my experience with my own dish, which is the original round one, but I expect other hardware modules should be similar. (This is assuming you don't live in a conflict zone where GPS is being actively disrupted.)
On the other hand, the altitude seems like it's a little off (again, just based on experience of 1 particular dish), but that sounds like it's not relevant to what you're looking for.
