Cannot add Redactor WYSIWYG to front-end form

Following the demo for front end forms I am able to get the All Day toggle and Repeat rules working. However if I also try to use Redactor text editor which I have working in other forms, both the text editor and the date functionality break. Guessing this has something to do with the JS but I haven't been able to figure it out.
