Nested Simultaneous Handler touch areas

In the example below, I have been nested to handlers (Tap and Pan), the inner Handler works fine, but the parent handler acts to the whole area, not only the green box:

        onGestureEvent={tapHandler}
        simultaneousHandlers={[panRef]}

          <PanGestureHandler
            ref={panRef}
            onGestureEvent={panHandler}
            simultaneousHandlers={[tapRef]}>

          </PanGestureHandler>
        </Animated.View>
      </TapGestureHandler>
    </View>

expectation

I want the Tap handler gives response only on tap of green box. not whole yellow box

I believe it is because the handlers take width and height of children.
