That is a great question. I was doing some performance tuning about a month ago and it was not excellent. However, I know the reasons why and it's definitely a fixable issue I just need to get time to fix it. A fair amount of time is lost with reference counting the chain of streams from Reflex. I have a few ideas of how to fix that.
