FT149 Indoor Siren

This describes the Z-Wave device FT149, manufactured by Fantem with the thing type UID of oomi_ft149_00_000.

The device is in the category of Siren, defining Siren used by Alarm systems.

The FT149 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.

Overview

With built-in alarm horn, when safety loophole is detected Siren would sound its alarm to scare away intruders and meanwhile warn the house owner and related security.

Secure your home safety by sounding alarm to scare away criminals when the security system is triggered or any other safety loophole is detected by linked sensors. Different ringing sounds available. It can also work as a timed reminder.

Inclusion Information

  1. Install Siren, and plug it into the socket of AC Power.
  2. Let the primary controller into inclusion mode (If you don’t know how to do this, please refer to its manual).
  3. Press the Action Button.
  4. If the Learning is failed, please repeat the process from step 2.

Exclusion Information

  1. Install Siren, and plug it into the socket of AC Power.
  2. Let the primary controller into exclusion mode (If you don’t know how to do this, refer to its manual).
  3. Press the Action Button.
  4. If the remove is failed, please repeat the process from step 2.

Note: If Siren is removed from Z‐wave network, it will be reset to factory default.

Association Groups

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
