{% include base.html %}
This describes the Z-Wave device 914TRLv3, manufactured by Black & Decker with the thing type UID of kwikset_914trlv3_00_000
.
The device is in the category of Lock, defining Devices whose primary pupose is locking something.
The 914TRLv3 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is unable to participate in the routing of data from other devices.
- One touch locking
- Dramatically reduced, all-metal interior
- 30 user codes plus master code
- BHMA grade 2 certified
- 20 minute fire rating - UL certified
- Full 128-bit encryption security
- SmartKey: Re-key the lock in seconds
Press button “A” on the lock one time to include it in your system.
Press button “A” on the lock one time to exclude it from your system.
To completely reset the device and unilaterally have the lock forget about the controller (the controller will not forget about the lock!):
- Remove the batteries and discharge latent power (wait or press the programming button once the battery pack is removed).
- Hold the unlabeled programming button and insert the batteries while continuing to hold the button.
- Continue to hold the button until the lock beeps (~30 seconds).
- Press the programming button again.
- Wait a few moments and the lock will finish resetting itself.

Represents the battery level as a percentage (0-100%). Bindings for things supporting battery level in a different format (e.g. 4 levels) should convert to a percentage to provide a consistent battery level reading.
The system.battery-level
channel is of type system.battery-level
and supports the Number
item and is in the Battery
category.
This channel provides the battery level as a percentage and also reflects the low battery warning state. If the battery state is in low battery warning state, this will read 0%.
Provides the current time difference for the devices time.
The time_offset
channel is of type time_offset
and supports the Number
item and is in the Time
category.

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
The 914TRLv3 supports 2 association groups.
The Lifeline association group reports device status to a hub and is not designed to control other devices directly. When using the Lineline group with a hub, in most cases, only the lifeline group will need to be configured and normally the hub will perform this automatically during the device initialisation. The lock supports 2 association groups. Per Z-Wave Plus requirements, group 1 is assigned to the Lifeline group and can only support 1 node.
The Lifeline group supports the following unsolicited messages:
<td>
<strong>Command</strong>
</td>
<td>
Battery Report
</td>
<td>
Door Lock Operation Report
</td>
<td>
Notification Report
</td>
<td>
<p>
Device Reset Locally Notification
</p>
