ZW099 - ZWave |
{% include base.html %}
This describes the Z-Wave device ZW099, manufactured by AEON Labs with the thing type UID of aeon_zw099_00_000
.
The device is in the category of Power Outlet, defining Small devices to be plugged into a power socket in a wall which stick there.
The ZW099 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.
Aeotec Smart Dimmer 6 is a low-cost Z-Wave Dimmer plug-in module specifically used to enable Z-Wave command and control (on/off/dim) of any incandescent bulbs, dimmable LED bulbs, halogen bulbs with or without transformers. It can report immediate wattage consumption or kWh energy usage over a period of time. In the event of power failure, non-volatile memory retains all programmed information relating to the unit’s operating status.
- Insert the Smart Dimmer to power socket, The RGB LED will be colorful gradient status.
- Let the primary controller into inclusion mode (If you don’t know how to do this, refer to its manual).
- Press the Action button.
- If the inclusion success, Smart Dimmer LED will be solid. Otherwise, the LED will remain colorful gradient status, in which you need to repeat the process from step 2.
- Insert the Smart Dimmer to power socket, The Smart Dimmer LED will be solid.
- Let the primary controller into remove mode (If you don’t know how to do this, refer to its manual).
- Press the Action button.
- If the remove is successful, Smart Dimmer LED will be colorful gradient status. If Smart Dimmer LED still be solid, please repeat the process from step 2.

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
The ZW099 supports 2 association groups.
Lifeline When the state of Smart Dimmer(on/off/dim the load ) is changed:
- Set Configuration parameter 80 to 0:Reserved (Default).
- Set Configuration parameter 80 to 1:Send Hail CC.
- Set Configuration parameter 80 to 2: Send the Basic Report.
Association group 1 supports 5 nodes.
Retransmit Forward the Basic Set, Switch Multilevel Start Level Change, Switch Multilevel Stop Level Change, Switch Multilevel Set to associated nodes in Group 2 when the Smart Dimmer receives the Basic Set, Switch Multilevel Start Level Change, Switch Multilevel Stop Level Change, Switch Multilevel Set commands from main controller.
Association group 2 supports 5 nodes.
