Valkyrie 0.7 introduces - with 73 new icons - the largest set of new icons we've ever published in a single update. Furthermore we've updated 8 other icons, improved our React component, and improved our tooling.

• box-full has been updated to make the lids better match the size of the box, provide more space between the front fold and the lids, show a larger circle, and to restore the rounded corners previous versions had.
• heart-broken has been updated with an improved crack design to better fit the Valkyrie design language.
• id-card has been updated to use the standardized user-icon and is now 1 pixel less tall.
• map-marker has been updated to properly align its tip's center.
  • map-marker-slashed has been updated to use the new base map-marker-icon.

Valkyrie 0.7 alpha 1

Valkyrie 0.7 alpha 1 is a preview release for Valkyrie 0.7. It introduces a number of new icons, icon refreshes and other small changes. This version is labeled as an alpha within the 0.x-series of releases because Valkyrie 0.7 is ment to contain all contacts and phonebooks-related icons and this work isn't done yet. Future alphas may be released, or the full 0.7-release could follow.

Valkyrie 0.6

Valkyrie 0.6 is a minor update introducing a number of new icons and refreshing others. We're also introducing SCSS support for our webfont CSS. Furthermore, we've improved our tooling with which we generate Valkyrie as well as fix a number of bugs.

Valkyrie 0.5 is our largest release yet introducing 50 new icons and 3 new brand icons for a total of 107 icons, refreshing the design of 13 icons, moving to an improved grid and introducing webfont support.

Web fonts

Valkyrie now includes eot, ttf, woff, and woff2 font files. To use Valkyrie as a webfont, include the Valkyrie.css-file included in the /fonts-folder.

Redesigned icons

13 icons have gotten a design refresh.

• arrow-down-to-line now has a smaller line and slightly altered arrow.
• building has been redesigned to have windows that are all equal in size.
• circle-info adds weight to the dot of the "i".
• circle-warning adds weight to the dot of the "!".
• devices has better proportions for the laptop.
• envelope has been made 2 pixels wider.
• heart-half replaces the dotted contour with a colored half.
• home redesigned to remove the door and make it a continuous line.
• trash fixes the inner border radius of the handle.
• triangle-warning adds weight to the dot of the "!".
• As part of a new shield design, the following icons have been updated:

This repository now has a /docs-folder which includes a list of all icons available in Valkyrie. This is a temporary cataloge of the icons included and we'll have better documentation in the future.
