Tray Icon - No notification badge

From almost a year badges don't work. I don't understand why no one cares to restore this essential feature?

@lefterisgar It's not only about tray i con badge but also and mostly about taskbar icon.

2.57.0 and this bug is still here, we are unable to understand when we have messages or not. Could you please prioritize this? @maxoku Some people do not use taskbar icon because we have no "combine taskbar icon" function turned on, that means we rely only on tray icon notifications. I too need the tray icon dot/badge!

Since Caprine play a sound when a new message arrive, it must be possible for Caprine to also update its tray icon to show a red dot (like Slack) at that same time.
The question is how and when the dot (badge) should be removed. Preferrably when all unread messages have been read, if possible. Can't this be done by tracking the status of unreads, client-side?
(even if the new messages have been read on another device (like on your phone), it is OK to continue to show the red badge on the tray icon, as long as the dot disappear immediately when you open Caprine (or shift focus to it), and the client updates (sync) its status and realise all messages have been read. Having a badge that can be false is better than having no badge at all.)

Is there a setting related to any of this? I haven't had either the tray or the taskbar icon showing any notifications... ever?
