The issue should be fixed in the latest release completely (v2.52.1). If you haven't updated, please do so. |

@Skoti, could you send here the class list for the html element. You can get that by opening dev tools in Caprine (F12) and in Elements tab finding the line that begins with <html. Copy that line and paste it here. Before that make sure you have dark mode option enabled. |

Weird. Could you by any chance take a screenshot of Caprine window and blur the sensitive information? It seems like your html element doesn't have the same classes mine does. Also what platform are you using, you didn't post it in the report. |

What version are you running exactly and for how long hast this been happening? Also do you see any errors in the console tab in dev tools? Sorry for this back and forth but there will be some of it because this is a very unusual issue since I can see several problems with the ui which have been fixed in past releases. |

It's brew installed Caprine: This hasn't happened before. There are two errors in the console: I was running Caprine 2.51.2 in dark mode without any issues. It all has started after upgrading to 2.52. |

Okay, could you dump the page using this script https://gist.github.com/CvX/acad4654a1bb27e184741156c57b0ea0. It copies the whole page and replaces all sensitive content with an emoji. I'm only interested in the class names on the page. This will help me see how different your ui is from mine and I might be able to see something in that. |

I'm not completely sure but it looks like to me as if you have the old ui design which has changed a bit. It is definitely not the new design which was talked about in a lot of issues lately. Right now I don't have access to the old design and I can't exactly debug it quickly. It might take some extra time to fix it that I know it's not the problem with new design. I'll mark this as a bug and rename the issue for now. |

Just opened caprine today and mine is dark again too! |
Well old design is supported but we can't fix new updates to the old design since we don't have it. If someone has access to the old design and would like to contribute those fixes, please do 😁. |

I still have the same issue with dark mode: #1538
As I have described in one of the comments I only see the black thin border around Caprine.
I would be happy to help to track down the bug - what are the options?
