I think this would be nice! I have no idea of the scope of this as I haven't dived into source but I came looking for this feature.

Hi horseyhorsey,

Did you start looking into this? I was also thinking of working on this item. Wondering if the UI can be something like below.

New option for Guest checkout with a continue link.

Upon clicking on continue it will take the Shipping page
